As a person-centred therapist - my primary focus is to provide a natural, nurturing, safe space where you feel comfortable and at ease. Informal, yet professional, the space is there for you to relax, unwind and take things at your own pace. Our working relationship is one in which I respect you as a human in the world - your autonomy, your experiencing, your approach, your essence.
With a free initial 20-minute telephone conversation, we can work together to decide whether we ‘fit’ and if it feels right for you to have me supporting you along your journey. The next step would involve us co-creating a ‘shared agreement’ for our work together, setting out a standard of practice, in accordance with the BACP ethical framework. Sessions are open ended, with no minimum/maximum number available (that is for us to decide together).
